It’s Monday morning, Zmombie morning, the morning we all roll out of bed and into our cups of coffee or orange juice, ready for another week of work, school, whatever the obligation may be.   Those of you who work Tuesday through Saturday, Tuesday is your Monday, and so on…  Regardless, we all have that one day, that one morning, where all we want to do is pull the covers back over our heads and dream some more about zombies on the horizon, sharks in the swimming pool, tornadoes surrounding us but doing harm to none, something more adventurous than what awaits us when we zmombie our way into the office or classroom.

So the real question is this:  Why don’t more of us work more adventurous jobs?  “It doesn’t pay the bills.”  “Nobody will hire me.”  “I don’t have the experience.”

Here’s my answer and is advice I am trying to follow:  Make it an extra part-time job, a hobby, create a profession, hire yourself!!  Do these things and you’ll not only escape the humdrum obligations, you’ll make extra money to pay your bills, you won’t have to worry about anyone else hiring you, and you’ll have the experience to someday go out there and be the best.

My passion:  photography.
My level of expertise:  beginner.
My interest level:  Through the roof.

I want to create, I want to transform, I want to be surrounded by creativity, I want to have fun.  I want more than to zmombie out of bed Monday morning into my cup of coffee and out the door.  Don’t you?
