We saw Transformers last night at the Special Prescreen event and I must say, I was absolutely blown away. I wish I could provide you with screenshots or something of what I definitely feel will be THE blockbuster of the summer, if not the year. (Yes, this is completely off-topic when it comes to money, and will end up costing me more because I am going to see this movie again in the theaters at least one more time!)

Between the story, acting, action, and ridiculously AMAZING digital effects, this movie was even more than I imagined it could be. Brilliantly written to include drama, comedy, action, romance, and more, I remained absolutely enthralled in the story while enjoying the visual insanity. Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are on fire. (I still hold on to my opinion that Shia is a force to be reckoned with.)

For those of you who are die-hard, must-stick-exactly-to-every-aspect-of-the-story, original Transformers fans, you’re bound to find something you don’t like about this movie, but I assure you, watch it anyway. Everything else will make up for those little things ten-fold. (It’s so hilarious watching Transformers try to HIDE, and a bit of revenge on Sector Seven? Oh no!!! I didn’t think I’d laugh so hard!)

The person who took on Transformers ran a huge risk of just not doing it justice, but man oh man, did that NOT happen here. Michael Bay, the digital artists, the actors, and the writers did a fabulous job of capturing all that is Transformers (and so much more).

Big A+ to this one, especially for Shia’s more than spectacular performance!
